The Indianapolis Zoo is ready to kick off the holiday season with out of this world entertainment which means we need you! Seeking talented character actors and personable entertainers for a number of roles. This is a fun family event and we welcome all levels into the family. Click here to sign up for a virtual audition slot: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seeking a variety of characters such as: --Professor Pumpkin is one of the residents of Pumpkin Town. They wander Pumpkin Town carrying their puppet owl who looks as though he is made from carved pumpkins. --Aunty Guzzle is a playful, family-friendly interpretation of a more traditional witch. She is a bit absent-minded but very skilled at creating potions for passers-by. --Two scarecrows have come to life and decided to go on a photo safari through the forest section of the zoo during ZooBoo. --The Gamesters are the most approachable of the pirate crew. Their job is to facilitate the pirate games for younger audience members! --Trick and Treat are sugar skull siblings who help guide young people and their families into the Trick or Treat Trail. The look of these characters is based on the sugar skull iconography used in the Mexican Holiday, Día del los Muertos. --It has been said that “behind every great man is a great woman”, but in Mrs. Claus’ case, she does not need to be behind anyone! Of course, she supports Santa and all that he does but she has interests and important work of her own. Santa Claus has sent a special team of elves to the Indianapolis Zoo to learn from the animals how to best prepare for the Holiday season! ‍--The Specialty Elves have followed a different path from the toy making elves and they are so much happier in the kitchen! The main reason they love all things culinary, is that their treats begin showing up at the first signs of the Holiday season and stick around as leftovers until New Years. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoo Boo has rehearsals beginning approx Sept 25 with Dress Rehearsal approx Oct 3-5. General show dates are Wed-Sun in October. Christmas at the Zoo has rehearsals approx mid-November. Runs Fri-Sat November 19 - December 30. NO SHOWS on Nov 24, Dec 24 or Dec 25. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Odd-o-Ts’ Entertainment has been creating and producing shows for nearly two decades. We specialize in Atmosphere-style entertainment. Our performances have been featured at SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment since 2003, having created daily atmosphere performances as well as performance creation and operation for atmosphere seasonal shows. We’ve also created both strolling performances and mainstage performances for Valley Fair (MN), Walt Disney World, Disney Springs, Fun Spot America, ZooTampa, Busch Gardens Tampa, Jacksonville Zoo, Kennedy Space Center, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, The Ft Worth Zoo (TX), Orlando Science Center (FL), and The Seattle Zoo (WA).
