ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
• care for and maintain our community in an orderly, safe, sanitary, and attractive condition;
• assist Manager; potential to acquire skills while working alongside more experienced co-workers;
• bring positivity; convey respect and consideration toward co-workers and senior residents, at all times;
• perform job functions in accordance with safe working practices;
• report to Property Manager, daily [some Saturday hours may be required; hours flexible - we're open to
accommodating other life commitments by offering a non-traditional schedule];
• substitute for another staff member(s) occasionally [for example, receptionist desk];
• supplies/inventory: order, stock, and organize necessary janitorial tools/equipment;
• cleaning of the commercial apartment building: all facets; occasional spot clean/shampoo carpeting;
• assist in the set-up and removal of tables/chairs/decor for special events, sometimes after regular hours;
• patrol site: collect/dispose of litter inside or outside property line [near-daily patrol of exterior grounds];
• assist Manager with unit make-ready [prep vacant unit for occupancy];
• PHYSICAL requirements: be able to routinely reach, bend, stoop, push/pull during 5 hrs/day shift; occasionally lift
50 lbs, unassisted and pull/push full 2-yd commercial trash bins approx. 20'-25'
• be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (typical shift: 5 hrs).
