I've got excellent time, taste and professional equipment and am prompt and dependable. We play out about once a month and have done all types of gigs, including wedding, casinos, festival, block parties and bars. What we're looking for: a guitarist player with melodic sensibility who can quickly learn the basic chord progressions and occasionally solo as needed. Must have some ability to provide vocal harmonies and ideally provide an occasional lead vocal.Seeking piano-organist and/or sax player with jazz chops who are interested in the soul jazz genre (Lou Donaldson, Eddie Harris, Melvin Sparks, Reuben Wilson, Maceo, Benson, etc…). The idea would be to get together once or twice a month at Music Garage and work through tunes by some of the artists mentioned above. *All ages welcome, as long as you can play.
