Musicians wanted for band capable of playing a variety of genres. Ability to learn quickly and correctly is more important than being a shredder. You don’t have to copy note for note but you do need to play the right chords. Guitarists must know how to play augmented, diminished, major 7ths etc. although only a few songs will require that knowledge. Although I have a couple of drummers and guitar players who can fill in for a gig or occasional rehearsal, I would prefer more decimated members. It’s OK if you play in other bands that gig occasionally but not interested in someone who is rarely available. The most important need is Vocals (male or female). Band composition will likely be Bass, Guitar, Drums and two vocalists. Possibly may have either keys, sax or some other instrument but want to keep the footprint small. Song selection is the most important aspect. This will not be something you can do to make a living but a little pocket money is nice. 90 percent of the tunes will be really well known but hopefully not overplayed. I will play bass but also play guitar well enough to audition people or show them the parts.
