ATTENTION ANYONE WHO CARES ABOUT ANIMALS IN OUR COMMUNITY OR STANDS UP FOR JUSTICE
On the afternoon of August 7th, I noticed this man featured in the photos double park his truck, a 2005 Ford F150
Tag# JWVK56, at the northend of the Government Center park in Downtown Miami. He began throwing food on the ground, and all the animals that call the park their habitat, from pigeons, hens, sparrows, squirrels, ibis, etc, began to gather around him eating.
He then crouched down to grab them with his bare hands. He was called out on his behavior and claimed to be only scaring them away. How odd? When just moments ago he was feeding them.
He is described as an Hispanic male in his 30s-early 50s, medium built, about 5'7-5'9, aggressive in nature. According to locals who informed me that day, that same truck has been known to double park.
If you see this man, immediately call the authorities and Florida Fish & Wildlife at
. Capturing native wildlife such as sparrows and ibis is a crime.
