Meet Farmer Christina. She will guide you around the farm while sharing knowledge from 17 years of farming experience in RI. Christina is also the co-owner and creator of local tea company Sanctuary Herbs of Providence. View first hand the fields of herbs grown for Sanctuary Herbs of Providence. Learn growing techniques of different herbs & flowers, and how to make custom herbal tea blends for yourself, friends, and family!
Meet Farmer & Culinarian Kendra: She has worked in the front & back of the house in various restaurants in CA & RI, including the famous Hemenway's. She has also been farming for the past four years working with veggies, flowers & herbs. She has prepared a delicious menu and will show you how to work with herbs to add flavor and nutrition to your meals.
And lastly, meet Chelsey the Herbalist! She will share her medicinal knowledge of herbs, talk about her favorite ones and answer any questions.
Our Menu for this Event: honey glazed herbal goat cheese; aromatic, garlicky focaccia bread with savory herbs; Fresh-from-farm heirloom tomato platter; herby marinade-infused veggie skewers; decadent charcuterie, herby pea and lemon pasta salad; Sun Tea with refreshing and pretty botanical ice cubes! As no meal is complete without it...for dessert, lemon basil yogurt cake (OMG!) and chocolate cayenne cookies (mmmm).
BYOB: Bring Your Own BLANKET & BOOZE. And, lawn chair too!

This is a working farm with weeds, rocks, bugs, ticks, etc...please dress appropriately.
We advise NO open toe shoes be worn and have the ability to walk on uneven roads.
