Description

Get together with your friends at DC Voters for Animals for a summer social! We will order some slices from Pizza Loko next door, pick up a local brew from City State, and enjoy being in community with your friends and fellow animal supporters. The venue is open-air to accommodate ventilation safety. DIRECTIONS Metro The brewery is a five-minute walk from the Rhode Island Ave Metro. Exit the metro turnstiles and turn right onto the bike and pedestrian bridge. Follow the path to the Metropolitan Branch Trail and climb the stairs to your left. Look for the purple wall with the City State logo and the entrance to the taproom! Bicycle From the North: About 1/4 mile past the Dew Drop Inn, look for a set of stairs and bike rack on your right. The taproom is located at the top of the stairs. From the South: After passing the exit for the Rhode Island Ave metro, look for a set of stairs on your left. The taproom is located at the top of the stairs. Car There is a limited amount of parking on the roof. From Franklin St NE turn SOUTH onto Edgewood St NE and then make an immediate left around the liquor store, and an immediate right past Mess Hall. Take the ramp on your right and park on the roof (school-only parking during school hours!). You will then need to walk back down the ramp you drove up. When you reach the end of the ramp, take a right. The accessible entrance will be right in front of you. To enter through the main taproom entrance turn left, take the stairs up to the walking path on your left and follow the signage to the right. The taproom entrance will be on your right.
