Hello. I am a guitar player and I'm interested in starting a new blues band. There are enough players out there playing Mustang Sally and worshiping Stevie Ray...I do not want to add to that. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't want to do that. I'm looking more at where blues, soul meet and cover with buckets of heavy. Think Muddy Waters and Screamin' Jay Hawkins locked in a room with Fu Manchu or Kyuss. Primarily I need a rhythm section. Bass and Drums. I'm more about rhythm and texture in my guitar player...so if you manage leads well, I'm definitely interested hearing from you. Interested...lemme know. i'm 52 years old and I've been playing for way more than half of that. Where I'm not opposed to working with folks of any age, please understand what that means. I want to get together, make noise and go home. I'm too old to worry about trends or how popular we are or being seen with the right bands. And I'm Too young to play "popular favorites." I have some songs completed and demo'd....but I prefer to write collaboratively. Interested...lemme know? ALREADY have a band like this and you need another guitar player? That's a possibility as well.
