FOR THE FIRST TIME, PORT JEFF RECREATION OUTING IS OPEN TO RESIDENTS, PJ FIRE DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEERS AND PEOPLE WORKING IN BUSINESSES LOCATED IN 11777 PJCC Welcomes Local Community on Thursday, Sept. 22; 1PM Shotgun; 12:15 registration For the first ever, the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson Recreation Department is opening its annual resident golf outing at the Port Jefferson Country Club to the entire Village community, including volunteers of the Port Jefferson Fire Department, and all who live and work for businesses located in the Village of Port Jefferson including Port Jefferson Village employees. The $50 registration fee includes greens fees, cart fee, hat, a sleeve of golf balls and tees, post-golf barbeque dinner, and logoed prizes from the Port Jeff Country Club Pro Shop for various achievements including closest to the pin on the par threes, longest drive, closest to the line, low gross, and low net scores. Men, women, and children 13 and over are welcome to play. Registration is limited to 144 individuals, so entry will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Proof of residence, volunteer status with PJFD, and/or employment in a business located in Port Jefferson Village (11777) is required with registration. Please submit copies of PJ Resident License, PJ Fire Department ID Card, PJ Village Employee ID Card or pay stub for anyone registering for the golf outing* Must be 16-year-old to drive golf cart.
