                                                  5th Annual Second Chance Luncheon   In 2002, Agnieszka Rapacz, the founder of the Second Chance Luncheon, received a lifesaving gift from her sister. A very grateful recipient of a kidney transplant and received a second chance to do things she loves: being with her family, owning a business, and compete in swimming at Donate Life Transplant Games of America as well as World Transplant Games. Agnieszka is a proud owner of over 20 medals including 10 gold. Please join us for networking, fun, education, support, and a great atmosphere.  support the awareness of organ donations including bone marrow, cornea and tissue donations.To increase the number of donors registered in the state of Illinois.  This year we have an honorary speaker:  VALERIE JENCKS, MS, LMFT, LCPC Speaker, author, storyteller, cancer survivor Silent auction and raffle item proceeds will support Transplant Life Illinois and Team USA athletes at National and World Transplant Games. Luncheon includes 3-course Dinner, music, champagne punch, and a wonderful atmosphere. Tickets registration deadline is Wednesday September 7th. Through our various initiatives we aim to highlight the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyle in the long term management and well-being of transplant recipients.
