This Heroes of Faith Reception, organized by the Rhode Island State Council of Churches (RISCC), is continuing after the pandemic to continue the tradition of giving special awards out to Rhode Island faith leaders, those who often do not want any accolades, but do so because of a calling on their lives. The RISCC was started in 1937 and this year marks the 85th anniversary of the organization.
