The Lyrics, Love and Laughs Fest is a time to celebrate the best of us with some laughs! Featuring: Remy Ma, Papoose, Raheem DeVaughn, Bubba Dub, Kevin Tate, Alabama, as well as local artists! JUST ANNOUNCED: Remy Ma & Papoose.Concert doors open at 6:30 at the Lancaster Marriott. Concert is 7-12:30, with an After Party 12:30-2:30 am for an additional fee. After Party is pay at door. Remy MaReminisce Mackie, known professionally as Remy Ma, is an American rapper. Discovered by Big Pun, she came to prominence for her work as a member of Fat Joe's group, Terror Squad. PapooseShamele Mackie, known professionally as Papoose, is an American rapper. Well known for his freestyles and prolific mixtape output, Papoose has released four studio albums and 29 mixtapes since 1998. Born in New York, he began rapping in the 1990s, making his first appearance on Kool G Rap's 1998 album Roots of Evil. Raheem DeVaughnThe son of an accomplished avant-garde jazz cellist, Raheem DeVaughn is an urban R&B singer and songwriter who gets inspiration from the great crooners of the past such as Marvin Gaye, to more contemporary singers like D'Angelo. With two albums and a Grammy nomination, DeVaughn's musical style leans as much as it does towards neo-soul and R&B as it does towards a timeless soul sound he hopes to create through his musical legacy. Bubba DubBubba Dub, whose original name Jerry Morgan was raised in Alto,Texas (East Texas) is a phenom in his own right. As a young man Bubba has always lit up a room with smiles and laughter. From the classroom at Alto High School to his first gig in 2018, Bubba has taken over the underground of Texas comedy. Known for his ‘Snitching on Rogers’ skits & other story lines on Youtube (Bubba Bub) and Instagram (@BubbaDub94); he is a viral laughing sensation. Although social media has expanded Bubba’s brand visibility, his stand up and improv comedy is what solidifies his most loyal fans. Kevin TateMaking people smile and laugh is something Kevin Tate is no stranger to. With more than 11 years of comedy experience, he’s spent the past decade growing his art and passion. As a member of the SAG-AFTRA® union, he’s a true professional with industry knowledge and diverse comedic abilities. He’s been seen on HBO®’s All Def Comedy, GrowHouse the movie, Rel on Fox, and various other television appearances as both a comedian and an actor. AlabamaHaving appeared on MTV2 Ridiculousness and having opened for national acts like Rob Schneider, Keenan Ivory Wayans, and Paul Mooney; Alabama, originally from Talladega, has great energy and has been known to bring the house down with his jokes.
