One Book One Norristown is a community-centered literacy initiative that will take place September - December 2022. Philadelphia writer and activist Lorene Cary - author of acclaimed novel The Price of a Child and memoir Black Ice - is this year's featured author. Join us on Saturday, September 24 from 10am-1pm at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, PA for a meet and greet/book signing with Lorene Cary followed by a panel discussion with local Norristown artists, such as Bre Monet (fashion designer), Nell Bang-Jensen (playwright), Peter Smock (graphic designer), and more! This is a family-friendly event, and free books and swag will be distributed. Free admission to the zoo is available for people in the 19401 area. We hope you can join us!
