For Sale: 16.3 hh 15 year old standardbred. Meet duchess, a very in your pocket, sweet mare with no mare signs. Where you point her, she goes. She is a retired racehorse but still has speed for days, can be ridden Western or English. She has an abuse history before we got her so she sometimes still does flinch but trusts very easily. Stands to be mounted, we’re still working on patience at the pole, she is just very eager to go. Very big people pleaser, advanced beginner could ride her, she takes care of her rider. Crosses tarps, swings, water, logs. Teeth were recently done and feet will be on august 12th with a new set of shoes. Low on the totem pole, doesn’t bite, kick, bite or rear.
