Skyride Operators and Ticket Takers. JOB DESCRIPTION: Skyride operators help operate the Skyride at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. You must be able to stand for the entire shift and work outdoors in ANY weather. Skyride ticket takers must be able to operate ticket scanners, take tickets, answer patron questions, etc. You must be able to stand for the entire shift and work outdoors in ANY weather. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. * You will be required to wear dark blue or black pants /shorts (NO JEANS). * You will be provided with a uniform shirt. * Appearance standards apply including: Hair must be above collar for males and established facial hair (beards/moustaches) are restricted, must be neatly kept, and will be addressed on a case by case basis. * Piercings and tattoos are also restricted and will addressed on a case by case basis. * You must be able to stand for the entire shift and work in ANY weather. * You must wear closed toed shoes (no sandals are allowed). HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: Afternoon and evening shifts area available. Opening and closing times vary. You must be available to work all operating days during the fair (pre arranged days off excepted). You MUST bring a valid drivers license / state ID and your social security card or current US Passport to the interview. We are interviewing this week (Aug 8th – 14th).
