Hello!
I am a teacher and gymnastics instructor offering a virtual gymnastics classes. This class would prep her/him for gymnastics classes and is also great for building foundational athletic skills. This class would take place via zoom. Here is how the class would be scheduled. I will adjust based on age/ability. Let me know if you are interested! (Ages 3-13)
Warmup: Work on flexibility, listening skills, following directions (At this time I will sing songs) (15 minutes)
We will work on straddles, crab walk, open/close, pike stretch, pointing and flexing feet, stretching positions
Circuit: Forward rolls, donkey kicks, cartwheels, handstands, candle sticks, leaps, lunges (15 minutes)
Equipment (15 minutes) (depending on what you have)
Beam: different walks on the beam, forward rolls, handstands, scales, crown turns on relive
Bars: swings, jumping chin ups, L holds, tuck holds
Trampoline: tuck jumps, straddle jumps, pike jumps etc.
Bridges/rock and rolls (10 minutes)
Strength (5-10 minutes)
