Hello!
I am a teacher and gymnastics instructor offering a virtual gymnastics class. This class would prep her/him for gymnastics classes and is also great for building foundational athletic skills or to simply keep your child active at home. This class would take place via zoom. Here is how the class would be scheduled. I will adjust based on age/ability. Let me know if you are interested! (Ages 3-13)
Warmup: Work on flexibility, listening skills, following directions (At this time I will sing songs) (15 minutes)
We will work on straddles, crab walk, open/close, pike stretch, pointing and flexing feet, stretching positions
Circuit: Forward rolls, donkey kicks, cartwheels, handstands, candle sticks, leaps, lunges (15 minutes)
Equipment (15 minutes) (depending on what you have this will be adjusted)
Beam: different walks on the beam, forward rolls, handstands, scales, crown turns on relive
Bars: swings, jumping chin ups, L holds, tuck holds
Trampoline: tuck jumps, straddle jumps, pike jumps etc.
Bridges/rock and rolls (10 minutes)
Strength (5-10 minutes)
