Rehome a stray puppy

Found a stray a few months ago. He seems to be about a year old amstaff mix gray coat and freckled. He’s neutered, microchipped, I found his owner’s contact and they didn’t want him back. For a dog that was wandering the streets for some time, he’s very well mannered, gentle, doesn’t bark or scare easily, is loyal and trusting, affectionate and big cuddler, can get along with other dogs small and large. His only opportunity is that when left alone he can get destructive he needs corrective training. He is smart and has learned sit stay and let go effortlessly and is crate trained. He likes to catch and play tug. I would keep him if it wasn’t that my small dog and other large dog don’t want a new friend. I would love for him to go to a home with other puppy or young children so he can have tons of play time. He truly deserves a family home.
