Place to pitch a tent in Neosho

Hello, my vehicle broke down and I'm traveling across the country. I believe the fuel line became flooded. I am currently staying at the Love's in Neosho until Wednesday when a mechanic can take a look at it. I'm hoping it will be an easy fix, but unsure as of yet. There is a chance I will end up having to leave my vehicle at the shop and I'm wondering if anyone has a lawn I would be able to pitch a tent in for a few days if that ends up being the case. Within walking distance of town. Funds are minimal. Won't be in anybody's hair, just looking for a safe place to pitch a tent. Nothing is certain until Wednesday when the mechanic can diagnose the issue. Thirty two y/o male.
