One of the effects of Covid was the end of Open mics. The Open Mic that Eric Joseph hosted at Ale- E -Oops on Genesee, lasted for years and was a great place for both beginner and established Musicians to play at. It wasnt about getting paid, it was just a good place to get together with like minded musicians and have a nice night out. I used to play there for years and actually met other musicians there and ended up forming our band.
