Food Truck Driver, Chef, Operator/Manager (DC & PG County) compensation: $15-$18 hourly employment type: part-time job title: Food truck operator/manager Job Description We are a growing cafe/food truck based in North Brentwood, MD that offers its employees a fun yet challenging environment with a well paid hourly rate (with tip sharing). THE COMPANY: Seafood Subs & Sides LLC, owner of the Seafood Boss (2 Trucks), Sub Boss (1 Truck) and A Cafe (Opening before end of 2022) has been a prominent local food truck operation in The District of Columbia & Prince George’s County with plans to expand throughout Maryland. We have had an explosion of Online Orders and catering due to quality and professionalism we bring to the table. We believe our staff should be thoughtful and caring to our customers. Be able to make smart suggestions to customers based on the input they have been given. THE POSITION: We're looking for a driver that can act as a cashier, server, backup Chef and leader on the truck. Being able to fry prepared seafood, make sandwiches, serve prepared food and being good to our customers is a must. The pay range we're offering is a guaranteed $15-18 per hr depending on experience and with tips can reach $25-$35 an hour. This is a part-time position. Employee hours are anywhere from 10am - 11:30pm We offer a relaxed ( jeans and t-shirt covered with an apron ) yet challenging (high volume) environment REQUIREMENTS: Experience using a Tablet based register system (We use the Square register system). Experience Must be organized and not get frazzled under pressure. Reliable transportation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Taking customer orders, upselling to customers, prepping food, preparing food, working under pressure, serving customers at window and tables, cleaning truck, driving, and promote our other business entities like; online ordering and catering. Acting as a team leader for employees and working together. Oversee all truck operations. THE LOCATION: Seafood Subs & Sides LLC is based in North Brentwood, Maryland with a bus stop directly across the street. WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY? Job Type: Part-time Also later opportunity to act as an independent contractor being responsible for the entire truck operation with increased profit up to 50k to 100k plus a year.
