I am a young w0man trying to take a mAn out on a date. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I am a drummer versed in many different genres, 40 years of experience, looking for a working band or other musicians to form a band. Long term band I was in is no longer due to illness. I've got excellent time, taste and professional equipment and am prompt and dependable. Hoping to hear from you!Our primary focus is going to be on original material and getting into the local Chicago music scene. We are not really interested in playing many covers or doing the covers circuit. We recently release 2 new songs and have a handful more on the way as well as a 4 track EP from 2019. Link to our full discography below.Drummer, Guitarist and Bassist looking for Lead Singer to round out 80’s, 90’s, 00’s Rock Cover Band. The goal is to play songs that people know but not all the ones that a lot of cover bands are already doing. Looking to do songs by artists like: Black Crowes, Bryan Adams, The Cars, Spacehog, STP, Pearl Jam…open to a lot of other artists/songs.Looking for like minded folk to jam with. I have some recordings in various states of dress and undress. Some with vocals, some not. Looking for guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers. I play guitar, sing, play bass and drums. We play out about once a month and have done all types of gigs, including wedding, casinos, festival, block parties and bars. What we're looking for: a guitarist player with melodic sensibility who can quickly learn the basic chord progressions and occasionally solo as needed. Must have some ability to provide vocal harmonies and ideally provide an occasional lead vocal.Seeking piano-organist and/or sax player with jazz chops who are interested in the soul jazz genre (Lou Donaldson, Eddie Harris, Melvin Sparks, Reuben Wilson, Maceo, Benson, etc…). The idea would be to get together once or twice a month at Music Garage and work through tunes by some of the artists mentioned above. *All ages welcome, as long as you can play.
