On behalf of the Cancer Center, I sincerely thank you for the immense outpouring of love and your condolences over the loss of our beloved Cancer Physiology Chair, Dr. Bob Gillies. While we are diminished by his passing, we are comforted by the many fond memories we have of Bob created within these halls. In recognition of his life-long contributions to the prevention and cure of cancer, we will be hosting a Celebration of Life in honor of our friend and colleague, with special guest attendance by his loving family. I invite all of you to join us for this event honoring Bob, his passion for research, and the rich legacy he has left us. A reception and refreshments will follow.
