We are so excited to have the community come out to help us kick off Sickle Cell Awareness Month. YES— September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and we will be at the park dancing to the Sounds of DJ OPZZY. We will have the grill fired up, with food and drinks for purchase. Dress in your 90s/2000 attire (not mandatory but encouraged). THERE IS NO COVER CHARGE. Registration is required. Tickets must be shown for entry. We will have seating indoors but, bring your chairs/ tents/ blankets to set up outside. It is the last cookout of the season, so let’s make it memorable! Any one who wears red/burgundy or sickle cell attire, will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa Gift card. Sickle Cell uniquely and largely effects the Black Community. KT-DTP is committed to the direct application of all monies raised to Sickle Cell WARRIORS and their family in their times of need as well as spreading awareness as we champion on research and treatment development! We do it for The Cell.
