As part of the MFA's extensive collection of Ancient Artifacts is a section devoted to everyday items including their select display from a collection of over 7,500 ancient coins. As part of the experience I will provide a community oriented, lecture/tour on the history of ancient money. It's a history that includes our relationship to writing, early counterfeit, banks, how we perceive cultures and more! So join us and learn about the early history of this all important concept that we take for granted! Important Info The first 7 point who join will have the opportunity to use my Ambassador's Pass to enter the museum for freePlease arrive on time for this event. I will start the tour promptly.After the lecture portion we may continue to enjoy parts of the museum casually as a group, and those who would like to split off and enjoy parts of the museum on their own should feel comfortable doing so.
