Description

In this class, you will learn about the science of saponification and how to make soap (just enough to survive). You will blend Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Castor Oil (smooth lather and moisturizing combo) with lye (sodium Hydroxide), add colors and fragrance of your choice, or even dried flowers, and then ah ha! You will have made soap and get to take home your masterpiece (even if just a plain solid color blend)! You will take home about 5 bars (~$45 dollars worth) of your very own handmade soap to keep or share with your friends. **Also note, If you have allergies, we can alter the recipe to meet your needs!
