Cinelu, Hays, Maillard, PetitoUNDER 18 WITH PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN Cinelu, Hays, Maillard, Petito Mino Cinélu was born in Paris,France,where he mainly taught himself, first guitar and bass before moving on to drums and percussion and his music career was launched at age 15. By the time he turned 24, Cinélu had been living in New York City for two years and was gigging with some of the city’s top players in jazz, funk and gospel when he was approached by Miles Davis and joined his band which was a turning point in his life and career. In the years that followed, Mino has released albums under his own name and has appeared on countless records in various capacities. Whether playing percussion, drums, guitar, keyboards or singing, Mino brings his infectious personality full of warmth and joie fe vivre. Just a few of the many and diverse artists with whom Mino has performed with include: Weather Report, Sting, and Kate Bush. Kevin Hays is an American jazz pianist and composer who grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. He is an internationally recognized performer with a sound steeped in the post-bop and modern jazz tradition. Hays is an award winning musician who has recorded more than twenty albums as leader or co-leader. He has played with a bevy of acclaimed artists, including Chris Potter, Joshua Redman and Sonny Rollins as well as being a member of Steve Gadd’s Grammy-winning ensemble. JC Maillard is a native of Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe; a composer, guitarist, pianist, singer/songwriter and arranger. His professional career had kicked off in Paris, France at the age of 20, touring and recording with Grammy award winning artist, Angelique Kidjo, followed by artists from all over West Africa which launched him into the European jazz scene. JC relocated to NYC in 2009 and began touring with Richard Bona, Lisa Fischer and Grand Baton. Scott Petito is an award winning composer, producer and engineer. He is a gifted bassist and multi-instrumentalist who has performed on hundreds of recordings in many musical styles. Scott has become particularly well known for his work in the folk and jazz genres, working with such musicians as; James Taylor, Pete Seeger, The Band, Jack DeJohnette, Don Byron, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Roy Haynes, Simon Phillips, Michael Franks, John Scofield and hundreds of other leading musicians in jazz and popular music. He is Also the bassist for the Legendary rock group the Fugs
