Description

In this training, attendees will learn how to definitively identify signs of an opioid overdose and how to effectively administer the opioid reversal drug Narcan. Laura Beth "LB" Burkhalter, is a Certified Naloxone Administration Trainer, Recovery Coach, and sits on the National Board of Directors for TPAS (TreatmentProfessionals in Alumni Services). LB is a founding board member of Colorado Artists in Recovery and owns her own Women's Recovery Home in Loveland. LB is passionate about creating a recovery community through music, creating sober safe spaces in the LGBTQ+ community, and helping individuals sustain recovery through connection. LB is a human in long-term multi-dimensional recovery.
