About the White PartyThe White Party tradition began in 1986, when a small group of friends gathered at Provincetown's waterfront Delft Haven community to play croquet, have a few cocktails, and toast the end of a wonderful summer. In 2011, Peter Page, who had hosted White Party for more than 20 years, decided to make it a fundraising event. He chose Outer Cape Health Services to be the White Party's beneficiary. Outer Cape Health Services, or OCHS, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, federally qualified community health center with locations in Provincetown, Wellfleet, and Harwich Port. They have been caring for the Provincetown community since their founding in 1987, providing high-quality healthcare to all in need. In addition to primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy services, specialty care, urgent care, OCHS provides Covid testing, vaccinations and treatment, Monkeypox testing, vaccinations and treatment, and tNt sexual health services. OCHS also has provided HIV treatment and care management since the 1980s, and is committed to serving the LGBTQ+ community at the highest level possible. All proceeds from the White Party go directly to OCHS operations. Your support has a real impact on the health and well-being of the Outer Cape.
