The Spiritual Exercises began as notes St. Ignatius of Loyola kept of his personal experience of prayer and deepening relationship with God. He came to lead others on their own spiritual journey based on his notes and reflections of prayer with Scripture. Over the centuries the Spiritual Exercises, as these notes came to be called, have been a path for seekers to grow in interior freedom in friendship with Jesus Christ. Emmaus Spirituality Center will be offering a new ministry formation program to train Spiritual Directors who want to learn how to guide others in the Spiritual Exercises. Please join us in person on Saturday, September 17th at 9:30 am to hear more about what this program is all about and how it can help you take your role as a spiritual director to a deeper dimension.
