Principally, Planned Parenthood of Illinois, and also the Midwest Access Coalition. At Madame Saint Vintage we are dedicated to supporting causes we care about, which include women's reproductive rights and access to contraceptives. After the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood of Illinois said it was expecting an increase of between 20,000 to 30,000 of out-of-state abortion patients. Putting strain on a system that has with what is basically a stable number of facilities and physicians. PPIL is taking steps to mitigate the impact of the out-of-state influx, including building new health centers near the Wisconsin and Indiana borders and expanding telehealth services. Before this decision, states in the Midwest faced some of the most restrictive abortion policies in the country. Now, as many states are choosing to further restrict or ban abortion, individuals in this region face even greater barriers to access. The Midwest Access Coalition assists in paying for travel, hotel stays, childcare, food, and other costs for those who have to travel to access safe, legal, and sometimes life saving healthcare. A portion of funds raised will also be donated to Midwest Access Coalition.
