A Brighter Education for Dyslexia is a parent-led support group for those that have children affected by dyslexia. This grassroots nonprofit was founded in 2014 and has been serving families in the North Houston area for eight years. A Brighter Education for Dyslexia’s mission is "to Empower, Educate and Instill Hope to families affected by Dyslexia". The organization’s services include educational settings led by experts in our community to inform families on how to navigate a successful journey with dyslexia as well as personalized individual consulting for their student’s 504/ARD meetings. In August, A Brighter Education for Dyslexia presents get a "Jumpstart to a Successful School year"! Four experienced parents, Nicole May, Kristen Guarisco, Shannon Vollaro and Stacey Evans will be presenting topics related to dyslexia to help prepare families for the new school year.
