Beanology [bēn-ol-uh-jee] Noun. The branch of knowledge that deals with the understanding of the origins, preparation, and enjoyment of coffee. If you are new to coffee, this a great place to start your journey. Beanology: Introduction to Coffee will explore Specialty coffee’s journey from seed to cup. Class participants will have the opportunity to taste coffees from four different continents and learn how to describe the flavor of each. Participants will also learn how to brew coffee with pour over devises and how manipulating various elements can affect the final cup flavor. There will also be an opportunity to tour our roastery and see the roasting process up close. All participants will leave with a sample pack of assorted coffees to continue the experience at home. Beanology is ideal for new baristas, entrepreneurs, and coffee-lovers alike. Face Covering and Mask Requirement: Face covering and masks are not required but are optional.
