Description

For anyone wishing to be a vendor for the Weirdo Market, please read following in its entirety. Also join our fb group to keep up with important info! https://www.facebook.com/groups/3170638916485738/ Thank you for your interest in our Weirdo Arts & Community Market in beautiful and historic Sans Souci, Greenville, SC! Our market is so named because of one of the most entertaining art genres, low brow “Weirdo art”. Also named to let all the like minded creative “weirdos” out there know where to look for other free spirited people! We are here to create a platform for anyone wishing to express their skills and creativity in a safe environment! It’s $45 for the first AND third Saturday of the month you choose, April-November. Vendors are to pay in advance for each month, and attend BOTH markets from 11am-5pm within that month. When you pay for the first Saturday of the month, you are paying for the whole month here on Eventbrite. They are not sold PER Saturday. (Rain Check Roll Over Exception) No refunds. If you can’t attend both Saturdays in one month, I can roll over one to another month, but only if it’s a necessity. I’d like for vendors to stay within one month. Also, in case of postponement due to bad weather, we will post on our Instagram and Facebook pages several times at least 3 days ahead of time to announce the postponement of the market. Please check the weather a few days before the event and if you’re unsure please contact us directly and/or check our social media outlets. Set up is at 10am. Please be extremely careful when pulling into the parking lot during loading and unloading. There is parking only a short walk from the Family Dollar and the grassy lot, across the street. No parking behind the venue please. The spaces are as big as a portable canopy, 10 by 10. Feel free to branch out freely into walkways, since they are wide. Canopies are advised in the summer months. Bring all you’ll need to vend. Remember to respect the venue, respect your neighbor and yourself! Usually around 15-35 vendors attend along with all the permanent shops and artist’s studios inside. We will have more to offer this year. Plus some demos and live music/entertainment of some sort. If you know anyone that would like to do a demo or perform, please send them our way! If you would like to be an inside vendor (where there is room for 4-6 vendors), there is a ticket option for that. Inside spaces are 6 by 6, so a smaller set up is recommended. All spaces are a first come basis, but there is always enough room for everyone to have a good spot! Set up as close to your neighbor, the building and/or the fence as possible. In front of the garage door isn’t a space. Outside of the store front windows are available. Don’t block the way from the front of the lot to the back gravel parking lot please. We have outlets inside, and please ask before you plug in anything please. Also we have a fridge and bathrooms. (Those are available to all.) Thank you!! Please share the event if you are vending. It helps all of us.
