I'm located in Goleta, and a neighbor of mine just adopted a dog from Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles. She told me that there are currently 130 German Shepherds/Mixes there that have been rescued from kill shelters by Westside German Shepherd Rescue – sheprescue.org. They all need homes! For every dog adopted, Westside will save another dog on a kill list across California. The situation is dire! There just aren’t enough good homes to save all the wonderful dogs that need a second chance! I'm spreading the word. Please consider opening your hearts and homes to a furry companion. It turns out that you CAN buy love!
