Nobody Special - Rock/Metal band needs bass

Hello, My name's Christopher. I'm the organizer behind Nobody Special, I am a composer/arranger for rock and metal music. I make music that is lyrically compelling and instrumentally interesting. If you've seen Nobody Special play within the last two years in bars and outdoor events you'll know that it was a cover band that did a pretty good job of getting people up and having fun. I dissolved that group because I personally need to perform original music as an artist and wanted to commit my time to performing my written work with a full band. Some songs are complex, other songs are simple. I think that there's room to be multi-general within rock because it's such a diverse game and if you can do everything relatively well; why not do it all? The music that we're competing with as musicians to secure a future is EDM. It's party music, technically perfect every time and the old guard of great bands are fading. The influences I draw heavily from are: Tool, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Griz, Pantera, Ozzy, Three Days Grace, Alter Bridge, The Contortionist, Intervals, Scale the Summit, Animals as Leaders, Between the Buried and Me, Deep Purple, and many more along this vein of music I play guitar and sing, I have a second guitarist whose name is Ryan, and a drummer for gigs whose name is Saurobh, unfortunately my bassist, James, is deploying this month for a year and I need someone else to fill the shoes. If worst comes to worst I can play my music by myself with backing tracks I've made for each song as I produced them all and mixed my own album, but playing by myself is boring. I want the energy of a full band.
