Bass player available

I just moved to the area and I have a bass guitar. I'm 48 (so, not 18). I'm not a beginner but not a pro. I can read standard notation. If a partition is simple (e.g. standard 12-bar blues) I play first sight. If it's more complicated I will have to repeat a few times but eventually I will get there. When I'm alone at home I like to play the blues, but I will meekly accept whatever you give me to play. Beside the bass, I also own a car, so I can travel to a reasonable distance.
