CAPITOL HILL WRITERS GROUP - 2 PM SATURDAYS @ CAFE' VITA Bring your laptops, pens, pencils and paper pads to write in a small group in the back of the Capitol Hill Cafe' Vita - every Saturday at 2 PM. Spend almost an hour quietly writing with a group of dedicated and disciplined writers, wanna-be writes, professional writers, professors, poets, press and whomever shows and wants to write with the group. After roughly 45 minutes, the group will discuss who they are, projects they are working on, and allow for anyone to read their work to the group for the input from others on the path or trajectory of their efforts, of their use of voice or perspective in their writing, of their grammar or style - however always respectful of the benefit to the individual who reads. No one should ever be allowed to take over the group, by a moderator(s) willing to manage the group - as well as manage the time, the set-up and the clean-up. Come to write and talk writing with avid or serious writers - of poetry, of science fiction, fantasy, non-fiction, news copy, or whatever!
