Are you looking for a career with horses? Windemere Equestrian Center is a 18 acre premier horse training and lessons facility located in Jacksonville Florida. We are seeking dedicated and hard working employees to add their talents to our facilities. We have 36 stalls, 17 outside paddocks, 2 standing stallion areas, 2 arenas and we are continuously expanding. *Full-time (5 days a week, 45 hours) and Part-time (minimum of 15 hrs) positions available. Weekend availability is a must. *Horse experience is not needed. We are willing to train the right candidate for these positions. *Must have reliable transportation *Must interact professionally with our clients. *Must be self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented and hard working. *Must have the ability to perform physical tasks. * Must be able to work outdoors in hot, cold and wet conditions for prolonged hours. Ability to repeatedly lift necessary weight (20-50lbs) *This job's responsibilities include but are not limited to feeding horses, haying horses, cleaning horse stalls, replacing shavings into stalls by the wheelbarrow load, dumping and refilling water buckets, turning horses in and out, grooming horses, cleaning outside water troughs, cleaning outside hay feeders and sweeping. Other general property maintenance and care such as weed eating, raking etc * Our interview process entails a paid 8 hr. working and training evaluation.
