Our family's Russian Box Tortoise, Hugo, has escaped and is about in the area. We've had him for as long as long as you can have a dog. He's a family member. We know his favorite foods, we cuddle with him, and miss him very much. Please, if you see a tortoise in you yard or on the street, he's NOT A WILD TORTOISE that just happened about in you yard. He's our friend. Please contact us even if you find a shell. If you live in the area, you know we have some scavengers about. He comes right up to me like a dog and likes watching TV. We're very sad about his escape and don't know how that bugger got out. Thank you
