Join Deadstock Run Club + On Running for the first ever Chinatown 5k Run/Walk!!!Date: Saturday, 8/13/22 Location: Deadstock Coffee, 408 NW Couch St, Portland, OR 97209 Details: Packet pickup begins at 7:00AM, you will receive an official Chinatown 5K bib to customize as you please for the race using art kits provided. There will also be a DJ spinning some amazing music to prepare you for the journey ahead . We will also have pre-race snacks, water, and COFFEE!!! On will be providing an exclusive demo set of their new shoes for participants to try out. The run/walk will begin at 10:00AM, starting from the Japanese American Historical Plaza and finishing at Deadstock Coffee, below are directions: Run south towards the Hawthorne BridgeCross going east, then run north on the Eastbank EsplanadeCross at the Steel Bridge and head south towards start lineTurn right onto Couch St then a left on 3rd AveTurn left onto Davis St, access Parking lot on 4th Ave *There will be volunteers along the course to direct you. After Party: Be sure to stick around after you've completed the 5k, there will be more music, food, and prizes that will be raffled off! Also, the West Coast Block Party hosted our neighborhood starts at noon!!! Registration cost: Donation based, ALL PROCEEDS will go to The Big Yard FoundationDAY OF IN-PERSON REGISTRATION AND DONATIONS ARE WELCOMED!!! This event is for all ages and all abilities, dogs are welcomed to run/walk with you as well!
