Join us in honoring the leaders, volunteers, and staff who transformed ACC from a grass-roots organization serving Asian immigrants into one of the most dynamic and responsive organizations for older adults in the Sacramento region. ACC was founded in 1972 by an unlikely alliance of student activists, community leaders, and professionals in the Japanese and Chinese communities. They laid the foundation for ACC’s growth in social services, lifelong learning, transportation, skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, caregiver support, and employment training. On October 20, we will celebrate 50 years of ACC’s community of caring.
