Job Opportunity – Shop Lead / Assembler with Bush Electric Vehicles in Sharonville, OH Are you a strong, hands-on leader with a focus on quality? Do you have strong mechanical skills? As a Shop Lead/Assembler with Bush Electric Vehicles, you will be leading a team of Electric Vehicle Assemblers installing electric power trains and energy packs into vehicles being retrofitted from gas powered to zero-carb electric powered. This is a hands-on, working leadership position. You will assign and direct work as required and motivate your team to complete work in a timely, efficient, and safe manner to meet goals. Ability to lead and motivate team members to meet production goals in a job shop environment Train, mentor, and provide feedback to shop technicians on their efficiency, quality, and timeliness of completing work Solid level of computer navigation is necessary to perform some functions of this position (timekeeping, attendance, vehicle completion reports, etc.) Solid automotive mechanical aptitude, required Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work instructions Experience using heavy frame processing equipment (magnetic drills, large size wrenches and sockets, impact wrenches, etc.) Experience using various hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.) A basic understanding of automotive electric principles is desired Ability to read an electrical schematic would be a plus Basic understanding of reading measuring devices such as a tape measure Welding and fabricating skills would be a plus Must have or acquire your own basic tool set Bush Electric Vehicles, a newly formed division of Bush Specialty Vehicles, is committed to building, up-fitting and retrofitting zero-carb electric vehicles and next-gen eco-friendly vehicle solutions.
