On Sunday, September 25, 2022, Artisans in Brass will perform as our first Pacific Artist Series concert of the season. Our beloved George Dougherty, FPU Director of Bands, is a founding member of this quintet. The performance is in collaboration with FPU's Gather '22 events, and will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Warkentine Culture & Arts Center Main Theater. There will also be a donor meet-and-greet after the concert with new FPU President André Stephens! Artisans in Brass (AiB) is an ensemble of Christian professionals who desire to use their talents to exalt Jesus Christ through the performance of the finest brass literature. Their repertoire features a combination of sacred and classic music that spans more than five centuries. They have performed sacred concerts for churches throughout the U.S., collaborated in concert with choral societies and symphony orchestras, and presented traditional recital programs for colleges.
