Lunsford is a proponent of the North Carolina tradition of thumb and finger pick style of playing , bringing to life everything from mountain tunes to jazz to Americana fare. He is the co-founder of the North Carolina Thumb and Finger Style Guitar Players Association and seeks to keep the tradition alive on many levels. Join Clay and your friends at the Sharpe House after dinner at your favorite Statesville Restuarant for homemade ice cream and cookies and your choice of regular or adult beverages. Try chocolate ice cream and fudge cookies with a glass or two of a delicious red wine. There'll be a rich vanilla bean ice cream with snickerdoodle cookies to pair with an Apple wine. Or a fruity sherbet and vanilla sugar cookies with a citrus beer. We are still imagining the combinations we'll serve! There will be the traditional Raffle that night as well with lots of wonderful prizes! Check in at the Pasture Stage begins at 7:15 and the concert begins at 8. This is an outdoor event located behind the Sharpe House.
