Serving The Public's Interest While Preserving Individual Liberty

Description

This is a summary of what I believe as a Publicentrist, of which I founded Publicentrism: Public Institutions should be strengthened and expanded to serve the public interest. This means safety nets, community resources, community action, more grants and more stimulus checks (or provide a Universal Basic Income to every citizen). The Federal Reserve is the United States’ central bank and is privately owned. Our currency and legal tender are controlled and actually owned by the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve should be moved to the public sector and our money should be controlled by the people. All banks should be removed from the private sector, become public property, and be locally owned. No private banks nor financial institutions should exist, unless otherwise subsidized. Safety nets should be more heavily funded to protect the disabled and disadvantaged. Social Security's earning cap, for example should be unlimited and Universal Single-Payer Healthcare should be instated everywhere across the country! Paying taxes one time a year is better than paying out the rear everytime you need medical assistance. Although, we also value cutting wasteful government spending that serves no legitimate or practical purpose. The rest of the economy should remain in the private sector. Yard sale permits and occupational licenses, for example, should be done away with. Individual liberty is of utmost importance, as long as you're not hurting anyone else, nor coercing anyone into doing something against their will. For example, ending crimes that have no victim other than the person committing the 'crime' themselves. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, suggestions or inquiries. Any uncivil and non-constructive criticism WILL be reported to Craigslist. Thank you for your time!
