A sisterhood of more than 200,000 college-educated women, the sorority currently has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Jamaica, and the Republic of Korea. The major programs of the sorority are based on the organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic DevelopmentEducational DevelopmentInternational Awareness and InvolvementPhysical and Mental HealthPolitical Awareness and InvolvementThe Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Alumnae Chapter is committed to advancing the programs of our National Sorority throughout our service areas (Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Okatie, and Pritchardville). Currently, we have two major events, one in the spring and one in the fall, to assist in meeting our goals. We invite you to be a sponsor for our spring and/or fall events. Your contribution will be used for the benefit of our community’s underserved as we provide scholarships for high school seniors, as well as financially assisting us in meeting the needs in communities through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the next event date. COVID -19 Policy: • All individuals (members and nonmembers) are to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. • All individuals (members and nonmembers) are required to wear masks throughout the duration of all in-person activities. • Social distancing measures must be implemented at all in-person events where possible. • Individuals (members and nonmembers) attending in-person activities must stay home if they or a member of their household has any symptoms of COVID-19, the flu, or a cold. • Individuals (members and nonmembers) attending in-person activities must stay home if they or a member of their household has tested positive for COVID-19 or is in isolation or quarantine.
