What is it?This is a gear loan event and photo mixer! Borrow lenses from the store, for FREE and learn from Woodward Camera Staff, tips & tricks for photographing cars! We'll have hours of classic cars, driving by and parked in the Woodward Camera lot! We've rented a big tent to host the meet up, along food, drinks, a photo booth and great company! 11AM - 12PM Car Photography Tips & Tricks Class with Woodward Staff Member David Bauer. About the DreamShow: The Woodward Dream Show is a significant hot rod, custom, cruiser, and muscle car show with a focus on featured classes, marques, and a celebration of car enthusiasm in the heart of the Motor City. This year, the iconic 1932 Ford “Deuce” turns 90, the Lincoln brand celebrates its 100th anniversary, and the Pontiac Firebird turns 55 Why should I go?This is great opportunity to try new gear, meet other local photographers, get to know Woodward Camera staff, experiment with car photography and build your portfolio! With the photos you take during the event you can enter our August Photo contest: Planes, Trains and Automobiles for the chance to win $25 Woodward Camera Store Credit and a 12x18 Canvas Warp! How much does it cost?We are asking that attendees pay $15 to reserve their spot as space is limited, and we need to know how much food to buy. Attendees will also get $15 back as in-store credit! Credit is only given if you attend the event. Registration fees are refundable up to two days prior to the Dream Cruise. ParkingParking during the event is limited. We do have some spots that we will save for early bird customers in the back of the store, but we would recommend parking away from the store and walking in to avoid traffic jams. What should I bring?Bring a camera, or two! And a memory card! Sunscreen is recommended too. We will have 40 chairs available, water and snacks. Is the store open?The store will be closed to the general public, however event attendees are welcome in to borrow gear, use the bathroom, get water and purchase accessories as needed, memory cards, batteries, etc.
