First responders are only able to save someone from cardiac arrest when there is someone able to provide CPR within 5 minutes of them going down. After 5 minutes without oxygen, the brain begins to suffer irreparable damage. The time delay and the damage to the brain without intervention is why early on scene CPR by a lay person is critical to survival. This class will teach you CPR techniques on adults and children, and you will receive your certification from the AHA, which is good for 2 years. Come learn how to help save a life! Masks are mandatory, and all other materials will be provided. Cost is $40.00, cash or check to Kyle Noonan the day of event.
