automotive safety inspections opening/ prefer experienced but will train the right person that demonstrates good work ethics and desire to get ahead. This job is not for everybody- if your the sensative type and your feelings get hurt easily, dont bother. We perform a 100 cars a day, your gonna fail people, your gonna get cussed out its part of the job. If these situations bother you and you dont have the people skills to deal with this in a professional manner dont bother. If you have a hard time getting to work on time, or show up with breakfast in one hand and a cell phone in the other, save us both the trouble - you wont last 2 weeks. If your the type thats looking to sit around a draw a paycheck, aint gonne happen, we do over 100 cars a day, we are non stop from 8am to 6 pm. You wont be sitting around youll be working the whole time. Texas DPS TESTS AND DOES BACKGROUND CHECKS, IF YOU HAVE ANY DRUGS, ALCOHOL OR FELONIES THEY WONT LIC YOU. They will check so dont think your gonna lie and sneak by, you wont. Fulltime 40-44 hrs a week, more if you want and show promise. If 40 hrs a weeks to much for you and you call in sick 2-3 times a month do not apply. Being straight forward- i been doing this 35 years, ive raised wages to the point that ive dug into my pocket to do so but employee performance has not developed the same way. Im tired of all the kiddie crap from grown men 22-30 years old. I need a man not another dependent theres a potential for serious growth for someone thats willing to put in a few years of hard work to prove himself. All i hear from labor these days is we want more but we dont want to do more. Im done with that mentality. Zero tolerance for calling in sick showing up late or doing crap they know better about. I dont need a mommas boy or a semiadult. I need one person that wants to work hard for a fair days wages. i START AT 12 DOLLARS AN HOUR PLUS TIPE ( LAST YEAR MY GUYS EARNED OVER 50K IN TIPS. I will not pay more then 12 an hr for someone until they prove themselves, all of my guys get more but i aint giving the sheet away in hopes of you improving. Its real simple you make me more money and i can pay you more money but if you come in here and give me minimal effort ill pay you minimum wage- This is not a kiddie job, its a serious job and it involves the safety of everyone on the road and we treat it like that. no conmen, no 1/2 assers, no drama queens. There has got to be a couple quality individuals left out there. Youll be treated with respect and youll be expected to return it. Ive invested 35 years of my life into building this buisness and i wont tolerate any less. but i take care of my boys too and showw them the same back. Its an easy job but it is constant. we are expending and need problem solvers and leaders not lilkids
